Administrative Human Resources Associate

Job Type: Temporary full-time

Pay: $14 per hour to $16 per hour – upon experience


Shenandoah Growers, Inc. “SGI” is actively hiring an Administrative Associate for our Headquarters Office in Harrisonburg, VA. This position is responsible for answering all incoming calls and redirect them accordingly to teammates as needed. The Associate must have a strong initiative to tackle new projects without leaving HQ main lines unattended. The Associate must have strong communication skills both, verbal and written to be able to pass accurate and clear phone messages.

The Administrative Associate will have the opportunity to participate in projects within the Human Resources department.


  • Managing all incoming calls, multiple lines at one time
  • Must be able to learn process while working in a fast paste manner
  • Performs very different clerical functions (files, organizes supplies, follows up on voicemails, etc.)
  • Takes notes and transcribe into email, document and/or spreadsheet forms
  • Sends faxes and prepares them as needed
  • Completes administrative assignments assigned by the Corporate Recruiter and other HR personnel
  • Takes phone messages
  • Other duties assigned per management
  • , or related field
  • 1-2 Yrs of Research and Development experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with 365Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of office environment required
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Bilingual, Spanish and English preferred
