Position Summary:

Shenandoah Growers, Inc. is hiring an Intern Logistics Associate, with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to the TMW project, facilitate the implementation, collaborate with Oasis and Trimble support teams to effectively onboard the software application. He/she will also work closely with the teammates from the Transportation Department and will assist in the training of the new system. The Intern is ready to apply computer knowledge and practices in a fast-paced, real-world environment. The intern will assist in writing reports, conducting research, analyzing data, and making recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency. This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing a career in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems business administration. This position reports to the Vice President of Logistics/Transportation.


  • Supports the Transportation team with the TMW software, and other systems
  • Analyzes TMW goals, objectives, and needs
  • Assists with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
  • Documents and evaluates TMW software applications
  • Trains TMW Systems to other teammates in Transportation as needed
  • Assesses new application ideas
  • Writes reports, conducts research, analyzes data, and makes recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Assists in resolving business issues using systems and data
  • Estimate the costs and benefits of multiple actions and/or solutions and provide recommendations
  • Help launch a new initiative
  • May perform additional projects upon request
