Production Coordinator



  • Train and oversee employees on assigned line.
  • Communicate with the production supervisor about any issues that could affect the production floor. This includes but is not limited to the availability and quality of product.
  • Continuous monitoring of lines to ensure proper yield calculations and waste.
  • Frequent review of production schedule to adjust for more accurate production time.
  • Maintains an uninterrupted flow of product.
  • Assures that product cut size and formula blends are within specifications.
  • Coordinates with Production Supervisor employee breaks and lunch in a legal way that will not impact production.
  • Enforces proper personal protective equipment is worn: hair net, beard net, gloves, and smocks.
  • Identifies safety hazards within the area of operation and notifies the production supervisor.
  • Reports all accidents to the production supervisor and assists in completing the necessary accident reports.
  • Ensures compliances with all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Reports all equipment malfunctions to the production supervisor.
  • Carries out lead responsibilities – planning, assigning, delegating, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Provide all paperwork requested in a neat, correct and timely manner.
  • Responsible for following, performing and documenting food safety and food quality programs.
  • Reliability – Personally responsible; completes work in a timely, consistent manner; works hours necessary to complete assigned work; is regularly present and punctual; arrives prepared for work; is committed to doing the best job possible; keeps commitments
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Ability to communicate well with others.
